Fall Tournaments for Players
in graduating classes 2011-2014

The Connecticut Lightning Premier Recruiting Team will be holding tryouts THIS SUNDAY 9/14 at Danbury High School for players in graduating classes 2009 and 2010. There is no preregistration for these tryouts and no fee.  If you wish to try out , just go to Danbury High School on this Sunday at 1:00pm and look for the sign that says "Try Outs."

For players who make the team, there will be 4 recruiting tournaments this Fall and training sessions at Danbury High School on non Tournament Sundays from 1-3pm.  from September 14th through October 19th

The team will be directed and coached by Lauren Scott & Molly Lensbeth
Denna Grasso & Amy Clark.

Tournaments included in this program are:

Hofstra  7 v 7          September 21

Boston U  3 v 3       October 26

UPENN    4 v 4        November 9

Northern Girls         January 11

There will be an optional select team going to the recruiting tournament  Fall Classic @ Downingtown    Oct 11-12 Premier Recruiting Tournament. Coach Wiener will be coaching that team

For players who make the team the fee for training and 4 tournaments is $700. There is an additional fee for those who attend the Fall Classic Tournament at Downingtown.

For players in graduating classes 2011 through 2014 there are two available tournaments.  Teams will be organized from the list of players who sign up.  Each tournament costs $125.

The Connecticut Lightning will not be running training programs for players in these grades.

If you wish to participate in Fall training you may wish to take advantage of the Nutmeg Fall Ball program offered Sunday afternoons from 1:00pm to 3:30pm at Danbury, Southington, Greenwich, and Trumbull.  Click here to visit the Nutmeg Fall Ball web site for more information and registration.
