CT Lightning Tryouts - Practice - Uniforms - Payments
 2008 Lightning Team selections have been posted. Please click here for rosters and registration instructions.  All CT Lightning players must attend the March 9th practice/tryouts.  All players who have paid by that date will be fitted for their uniforms. You
MUST complete payment to secure your position on the team no later than March 9th when final tryouts will fill vacancies based on the numbers of people who have paid. 

Final Tryouts for 2008 Lightning will be held at the CT Sportsplex on March 9th.  Click here if you would like to preregister and be notified of the times for your age group.

Connecticut Lightning is directed by two of the nation's top coaches: Tracy Wiener-Provenz and Carol Rainson-Rose and coached by two of the region's most outstanding and committed coaches: Denna Grasso and Lauren Scott.

We are proud to announce that the Lightning has been voted membership in the prestigious Galaxy League of elite club teams.  The league includes such power houses as: Yellow Jackets, CC Lax, M&D Lax, Skywalkers, Mass. Elite, New Lax, Albany elite, CNY Lax, Lady Roc., Ultimate Goal and others.

GRADUATON YEARS 2009-2015

 Membership Information
Tryout fee: $25.00
Membership Fee: $650.00   
Membership Fee due 1 week after rosters posted Payment includes:

 The Program:
  •  Connecticut Lightening play against top level competition (ie: Skywalkers, M&D, CC Lax, Ultimate Goal, Hero’s, TLC, ROME, NBC). 
  • Connecticut Lightening are given as much exposure possible  through Summer and Fall to maximize their potential for advancement and recruitment
  • Connecticut Lightening Top level teams are comprised of only the top players from our region
  • Connecticut Lightening will be known throughout the US as one of the top club programs in the country

Coaches:

  • Highly qualified Professional staff. Comprised of HS Coaches, Collegiate players, World Cup players, All-Americans.
  • Two coaches per team
  • Coaches will be compensated by Connecticut Lightning/Progression Lacrosse for coaching and travel expenses
Tournaments
  • 4-5 Summer Tournaments
  • Select Fall Tournaments
  • Tournament Fee’s are separate and not included in membership fee
  • Exposure all Summer and into the Fall
Uniforms :
  • 1st year players Team Custom Uniform
  • 2nd year players Team Underwear gear/Team Jacket
  • 3rd year players: Team Customized Warrior Jet pack backpack
  • 4th Year Players: Team Rugby
  • 5th year players: Team Sweatshirt
  • 6th Year Players: Team Fleece Jacket

Practices

  • Eight team practice sessions.
  • Guest speakers, clinics and scrimmages.
  • Most practices to be held regionally.
